Does It Really Get Better?

I have a confession to make: I’m not sure how I feel about the “It Gets Better” video project. While I appreciate people wanting to share their stories of overcoming adversity in hopes of inspiring troubled youth, the message is a little disingenuous. It’s a promise that those people can’t keep.

The Memphis Legacy Lives On

I’m always fascinated by the trends of fashionable things, the comings and goings of vogue. One hot topic I’ve noticed lately: Memphis. It’s not just home to Graceland anymore. No sirree, Elvis!

Memphis currently has two musicals, a band, and at least two albums bearing its name and/or relevance.
