In my search for high-quality entertainment on the Internet, I recently started watching Alias back from its beginnings. I’m all caught up on Damages and Dexter, the new Weeds season hasn’t started up yet, so I was poking around for something to fill the void. The show’s not great, but I like some of the characters and that Jennifer Garner is about as adorable as they come. (Add in Lena Olin as her mom in season two and… HUZZAH!)

There was the recent kerfuffle in Texas over school text books and what would be the social studies curriculum for students in the Lonestar State. One of the members of the Texas State Board of Education, Don McLeroy, was on a neo-conservative/creationist bender.
Maddow Is Da Man
Tucker Carlson’s website Daily Caller has lately been on a gender-bending binge, at least when it comes to Rachel Maddow. Columnist Matt Labash called her the sexiest man alive. Another piece about the women of MSNBC put this crack under a picture of Maddow: “Whoops, how did that one get in there? Sorry, man. I mean dude. I mean Rachel! Sorry, Rachel.”
