My tastes are wild and plenty as of late.
I had to purchase a booster pack on eMusic just to clear out the backlog in my ‘Save for Later’ queue. I got some great stuff, though, both there and on NoiseTrade. Now, I have a Spotify account, and not a moment too soon. From eMusic, one of my happy finds was the eponymous release from Motopony. It got me on first listen. Some of the cuts are up enough to get me through my workouts; others don’t quite bring the pump, but are still solid.
Via NoiseTrade, I finally took 
the chance to check out Joe Pug. My pal Jordan has played with him, so the name has been in my head for a while now. Grabbed his Nation of Heat EP for free and am so glad I did. It’s right-to-the-point folk stuff. Smart, simple, and sophisticated all at once.
