My background includes lots of print/web writing and editing, a decent bit of audio and video content production, 
a goodly amount of website back-end management, almost too much social media coordination, and lots more sprinkled across several industries, giving me a great grasp of the tasks needed to further web marketing projects. I am familiar with SEO protocols and other tricks of the trade such as the various bookmarking and pinging tools that help increase visibility and traffic to websites.
As evidenced by this portfolio blog, my grasp of content is deep and wide. Although food, music, politics, activism, and faith are my main focus areas, I also contribute posts covering health, fitness, home & garden, green living, sports, theater, travel, and general news to various websites that currently employ me. I come armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University, Los Angeles earned while attending college on an early entrance program with a Scripps Howard Foundation scholarship.
