As I make every attempt to live my life in a thoroughly examined way, I am forced to pay attention to every small message or would-be sign. That means listening to the inner voice and measuring it against what comes next to gauge — at least in my case — whether it was genuine intuition or simply over-thinking. It also means honoring my hesitancies until I can determine whether they are born from wisdom or laziness.
